Some of our dance costume customers choose to send us a base (top & bottoms, unitard, or leotard)¹  of their choosing, where we work miracles for them/their dancers by making a semi custom Plain Brown Label™ Costume.  It is a great way to spend less and still have a one-of-a-kind dance costume that comes stage-ready.

If you are not going with our base, we recommend Patrick J Designs for your base.  You can generally get a base with Patrick J under $200.

If your budget is minimal, you may want to search Discount Dance for a base of your choice.

Bra Provided by Customer: Costuming Services From $350 (excluding customer provided bra & any customer provided base parts, if applicable)

Some ladies are very particular about the bras that they wear.  Perhaps they are big busted, or perhaps they just know the exact feel that they want from a bra style top or built in bra.  Since this item can serve as either a built-in bra to a custom costume OR as a bra style top in and of itself, requiring custom pants, briefs, skirt, and/or accessories, the bra option runs higher than sending us the entire base.

That’s cool with us.  Send us your bra¹ to work up a custom or semi-custom base to fit you as you like.

HOW IT WORKS

1. You pay for this item, which can be either deposit or full payment, depending upon your budget & level of service
2. You will be given access to download the instructions for mailing us your base garments, bra, or separates, you will also notate your budget for this project.  This service is available from $200.
3. You mail it (if it has adjustable settings such as bras, make sure to adjust your shoulder straps to your liking & indicate which back hooks that you use)
4. We receive it & make necessary enhancements & alterations that you have pinned & notated provided they are available within your designated budget.
5. You will receive regular updates during the process
6. You will have the option to bump any enhancements.
7. We send the stage-ready costume to you once balance, if any, is paid.

¹If you select this option, we are not responsible for third party garments.  Please be sure that you either try on the base/bra or at least know the fit of the maker’s style of product before it is sent to us.  The fit of items ordered through a third party can be altered.  Be sure to put on the item inside out and safety pin areas that need to be changed.  We WILL need to do a remote fitting for further instruction; so please phone or text us before sending us the garment.

All agreements are done via text/DM. Any items discussed in person, telephone, or video chat will be recapped so that we have a record of items agreed upon or changed, if applicable.
