What Can I Get On My Budget?

I have $100, what will that buy?

There are many costumes, garments, and accessories on in our on-line store.  We also sell many items for DIY. 

Alterations start at $15, and are only available on new, clean products. 

We also make patterns for the experienced sewists.  These patterns start around $55, are hand-drawn, and do not come with instructions.

What will $200 buy?

Our PBL (Plain Brown Label) brand of semi-custom costumes start at $200. With this option,  the customer provides us the base, due to shipping costs with a fitting.  The costume can be adorned with many LSC rhinestones plus minor or no alterations as you pin it before shipping it to us OR you can have the base completely made into the very popular “war-torn” look, which has minimal rhinestones, if any. 

Our PBL Brand allows for separates to be made.  As such, you may choose to have a top or bottom, or accessories made to go with your other pieces.  Pricing depends upon intricacies and adornments.

What can I get for around 300?

HMDA (HotMess Dance Apparel) is our brand for un-rhinestoned pieces, contemporary costumes, and bases.  HMDA bases start in the high $200’s. 

If you were going the separate route listed in the $200 range, this budget could bump the amount of rhinestones or other embellishments to your order.

What will $400-$475 buy?

Plain brown Label Custom costumes are generally in this price range.  The smaller the costume, the farther the rhinestones will go.  If feathers are used, it is generally Chandelle or Maribou. If fringe is used, it is usually chainette. 

What does $500ish get me?

Our ContenderWear costumes start right about $500 depending upon size considerations for embellishments. All CW costumes are anticipated to have at least 10 gross of rhinestones.

Or, $500 range can buy a custom PBL costume with some extra embellishments. 

What will $600+ buy?

Our ContenderWear custom costumes with ostrich feathers and/or beaded fringe start right about at $600.  You are probably asking, “what more coud be added?”  Well, one upgrade would be to all Preciosa Maxima Rhinestones from the Czech Republic.  The ultimate upgrade would be to rhinestones that we offer from Austria. Keep in mind that ultra-premium rhinestones can add $500+ to a costume.  Many of our discriminant customers spend between $1,100 to $1,800 on a costume. However, our ContenderWear brand is the top of the line brand regardless of which embellishments that you choose to have on your costume.
